Nelson Resources is a small gold miner with an attractive portfolio of projects that is looking to list on the ASX. The company has five different projects with varying stages of development, all located in the Eastern Goldfields region of WA.

The company’s assets range from grassroots through to advanced exploration plays upon which considerable funds have already been expended.

Their portfolio of projects include the Yarrie and Wilga projects, both of which have seen previous, historical gold production. As well as the Socrates project, a project that has become attractive due to its proximity to several recent and significant gold discoveries, including the impressive 6 million ounce Tropicana deposit.

Nelson’s near-term aims are to expand upon the drill indicated mineralisation available at their Wilga and Yarrie sites, to generate gold resources for near-term cash flow via gate sale or toll processing. They also aim to re-evaluate and define a potential economically significant gold mineralisation at their Socrates project.

The firm is led by industry veteran Peter Cook, who has substantial experience in the mining industry. He has had significant previous success as the co-founder, Managing Director and Chairman of Metals X Limited (MLX:ASX), and is currently the Managing Director of the newly demerged Westgold Resources Limited which operates the gold division of what was previously the diversified Metals X Limited’s portfolio.

Nelson Resources is raising $AU 5 Million at $0.20 a share, with a 1-for-2 performance option exercisable at $0.20 per share for IPO subscribers. The company will list with a small market capitalisation of just over $AU 9 million, and a low enterprise value of $4.6 million.

Tomorrow night at 7:00pm we will be running a special webcast with the Executive Director of Nelson Resources. He will answer your questions and cover the key details on their various projects and plans. Click here to book in.
