BlackEarth Minerals (ASX: BEM)

BlackEarth Minerals NL hold multiple sites in highly prospective areas in Madagascar and Western Australia.

BlackEarth has assembled a Board and management team who collectively are experienced with the necessary technical, operational, legal and corporate expertise in mineral exploration, finance, project acquisition, development and operations, including in listed public companies.

The graphite market is hot at present. Lithium-ion batteries use ten times the amount of graphite as lithium, and as production of portable technology devices has never been stronger, this mineral commands a strong position.

Elon Musk has stated that Lithium-ion batteries “should be called nickel graphite batteries”.

But that isn’t the only reason investors are excited; it also has applications in smartphones, machinery components and even as fire retardant coatings for buildings.
